Kid-led family photography in the SF Bay Area.

Juno Bee

Put the backdrops away and your running shoes on.

It’s like an iPhone photo, but mom’s in it, and who knew our house had such nice light? It’s like an afternoon at home, but a goofy new friend is hovering around and asking if you are going to be a graham cracker for halloween. It’s like your usual park adventure but your hair looks unusually good today.

Types of shoots

One hour at home
This is admittedly my favorite type of shoot. Everyone is most themselves at home, surrounded by both the physical and emotional comforts that lead to the best and most personal photos.

One hour in the world
Want to meet at your favorite park or a fun part of town? I’ll work with you to find a time and place that works for everyone and we’ll find the coolest spots together.

Mini sessions
Available seasonally, though please also reach out if you and 3+ other families want to go in together on a mini-shoot day any time of year! These 15-minute shoots are booked back-to-back in an outdoor location.

people are so nice!

  • "We've done holiday family photo shoots for the past SEVEN years with Clara. She is wonderfully easy to work with and always comes back with amazing photos (even when our children are running around)."

  • "From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were in the hands of a pro who knows how to work magic with the little ones."

  • " I love them as a mom because I'm always the one behind the camera and I get a chance to be included in the most comfortable and flattering way!"

  • "I've trusted Clara with all of my photography needs (family shoots, wedding, commercial) and she delivers consistently incredible results, on time, every single time."

New to parenting; experienced at photographing.

My name is Clara and I have been taking portraits in the Bay Area for the last decade. Family portraits have always been a large part of my work, but since having a baby in early 2022 I am fully embracing this new path in life and further appreciating these moments between parent and child.

Juno Bee is named after my daughter, Juno B., the inspiration for this new venture. Isn’t she cute?!
